Default Estdomains/Esthost/Estboxes/Estwhatever transition period

We talked about this and it seems most of us agreed to allow people a transition period of three months, to move their stuff away from estshit. So starting today I will no longer allow anyone hosted there to trade with me, unless we already have a trade going or I know the webmaster. Once the three months have passed, I will no longer trade with anyone using estshit.

So, if you use estshit, or know anyone else who does, you have until July 15th to migrate your stuff away from them.

It takes a max of 2 weeks to transfer a name. Isn't 3 months a bit too long?

Not everyone may be aware of it from the get-go. Also, some need to transfer more than one domain and perhaps even some hosting.

that's the part with the registrar, but the part with the esthost may take a lot longer. Also you can't await that every webmaster reged his domains there reads this forum at all. It takes time until the word/rule is spreaded.

Because they never came up for discussion when we had the issue up for debate, thus we never agreed on banning those too and forcing webmasters to move away from them, in order to get trades with us.

So, given that people never take any action until it's too late, are you going to give them a 3 month extension when they start to move?

No. If they're still there once the grace period expires, we will remove trades with them.

I would add to this that some webmasters are just f'ing lazy. 2 weeks is no where near enough time for some of the "its on the todo list" merchants i deal with in some niches.

Thats why I didnt fuck around with it - I own the hosting company and the ip ranges are blocked at the door and I shutdown all trades/submitters using any of the companies involved and asked questions later.
When you start talking you just killed traffic from 13 sites and they cant submit anymore you have their attention.
Not the nicest way to do it but for those who are good business people they took action immediately. Estdomains / Esthost / Inercage / inhoster is clearly not interested in dealing with their abuse issue so I dealt with it for them from my corner of the net.

Who is that?

On a second note, how about sites that trade with est* sites? They may be legit themselves, but it would be obvious that they won't be enforcing the ban, thus keeping est* alive. Should we trade with those or not? My opinion is no, but I wanna hear about this from more people.
