There is NubilesTube from Nubiles that requires you to have videos to Nubiles or Anilos.
Another option that I think looks promising but that I didn't have time to explore, yet, is WP Tube Theme for WordPress.
Actually the Nubiles script requires you to have a nubiles or Anilos LINK...you can delete ALL of their galleries and fill the site with your own content...but you have to have their link...in TWO spots, in the footer and under the list of paysites.Originally Posted by DiGiT

You can actually remove the videos if you want. Sometimes it makes sense to do that for instance if you have a niche tube where vanilla teen or mature videos would look ridiculous. It's more that they require some link backs. I believe at least one to Nubiles and the link to the tube script. I believe that is it but I could be wrong.
There's definitely room in the market for someone to create another a free skim version of a tube script. I think it could do quite well. But TubeX is pretty close at a $25 price tag.
thanks - I'll look into nubiles. I have tubex and it was great for a while but now its crashing every day - at some point in the day - and I am not even sure if its someone intentionally doing it - anyway I gotta call my $25 bucks to tubex a loss and find a replacement.
UGH! now I remember why I didnt use Nubiles before - it wont work on php 5.3 and the forums say there WONT be an update to remedy that.............guess Im gonna investigate that wordpress tube.......
I'd think using WordPress for a tube site is a pretty good idea, because the unterlaying base is well tested and stable.
I'm just not sure if the theme uses the latest possibilities that WordPress has (i.e. Custom PostTypes)
My best guess is that administration will have some flaws if you consider the needs of an adult webmaster, but thanks to the plugin system that should be a solveable problem.
You would be guessing correctly. Bulk add videos? google results give me for sale plugins and wordpress plugins search leaves me with hundreds of wrong results
You can check out FlashGals, it's free. You can use it as both a cms or to create tube site. I wish I have an example to show you, but I sold my network about a year or two ago. The owner who bought it turn it all into illegal tube or direct it to his illegal tube.
It's really easy to use. Not sure if the creator of Flashgal still providing support but you can contact him. It's the only one I like, not because it free, but simple to use and convert existing FHG to tube for you with just a click of a button.
Other than that I like TubeX from jmbsoft (just 25 bucks) but again no support. WP tube would also be an option.
Again, don't expect great support services for free/cheap stuff, but they are free :-)

tubex is your best option.
you just need to figure out why it crashes.
i haven't had problems with that script in years and pushed it into xx,xxx ranges of traffic. sucks the support is gone, but maybe your host can look into it and fix it?

speaking of FLASHGALS - I am not sure how I feel about a scriptseller who says I gotta give them my ftp info so they can install the script??? I mean I know I can make an ftp account especially for them, but I also know a decent hacker knows how to exploit a limited ftp account into server gold................

Sometime in a 24 hour period my global_header.tpl gets eaten up from the compiled template folder - and in the forum I am not the only person with this issue. I wonder if I could coax JMB to troubleshoot this for me for a nominal fee?

If I remember correctly there is another way to install the script. This was a concern for a few people. Also, I think if I'm not mistaken, you can create an ftp access just to the folder only where your own custom galleries will be stored so no need to give you access to root/home directory. I'm sure the guy can help you out, but you should asked him directly as he doesn't go onto adult board. Again, I'm not sure even if he still provide support, but I do see him online once in a while.
It's understandable but in the end if you install a script from someone (and especially if it is encoded) then you are trusting them nearly in the same way because they could write things into the script you are running to do pretty much the same stuff you are worried about them being able to dofrom an ftp account.
