Hello. The ratios with one of the sponsors I'm promoting has dropped significantly since the starting of this month. The ratios where very good, near 1:200, sometimes better, but suddenly, numbers had gone to 1455:1, and falling day to day.
I've been talking with them. They talked me about crisis, etc.. and said me that maybe this is a bad month for me, and with the low amount of traffic I send, this things can happen. But I know that this traffic is of a very good quality and this is a big deviation from the medium.
The point I discovered tonight is that this sponsor is not passing cookies between the different sites of the network. They have a network, with a parent site, and 17 microsites. When somebody joins on every of their sites, they have access to all the sites. I'm promoting the main site. But if a user clicks on a microsite, and joins from there, the cookie used by NATs is not my cookie.
Is this a normal? I didn't noticed this previously, so I'm not sure if they've changed this behaviour recently. I know they are doing big changes on the network, joining 2 different NATs, and maybe they broke something unexpectly. I'm going to contact them, but first I would like to know your opinion.
My opinion is that, if I send a customer to them, it doesn't matter what door he uses to enter the network. It is a sell that they've done thanks to me.
