4k/month traffic - enough to earn money?

I have a video blog that receives for 4k/month SE traffic from a number of long tail keywords.

Is that already enough to earn money in mainstream? Sorry, as you may have guessed, I'm new to this.

I would throw up some ads through Google and see how many clicks you can attract. If there is something specific that you can sell on that site, it might be worthwhile to look at some affiliates sites such as Clickbank.

On topic, what's the niche? Do you embed videos from other places or are they all original? Depending on the niche and originality of the content, it could make a few grand a month. It could also make only pennies, if it's just regurgitated "fun" stuff, with no distinct target audience looking for specific stuff.

Unless he posted it in the wrong section, this is mainstream traffic he's talking about. Yes, you can make a few grand a month even with as little as 50 visitors/day. It all depends on the niche. Mainstream is a totally different animal.

Just as an example, one site I'm working with someone else on was doing $200/day on AdSense with 5-600 visitors/day. Unfortunately it was for a seasonal keyword so the traffic has dried up, even if the rankings remain the same.

It varies, but I believe the publishers (you) get between 60 and 70% of the gross CPC.

I think it's enough. Check some ad networks to make money . You will be suprise. By the way, I am willing to recommend cj, reachjunction,adsense to you. You can also find some threads recommending ad networks.
