Okay, there's something they do in damn-near every porn video i've seen and/or watched a sample clip of and I cram to understand, WHY do they do it?!

In about 99.5% of hardcore porn videos (and even some where they're just posing for the camera) they make that "sucking air thru their teeth" sound EVERYtime they do something. Whether it be jerking off, fucking or just plain damn posing. Is that sound supposed to be a turn on to viewers? Some throwback sound to the early days of porn (for whatever reason)?

To me, the damn sound is irritating, sounds rehearsed and extremely repetitive (over and over, same sound, same sound level with a barely negligible change in pitch).

Yes, girls in porn movies do that, and i also get annoyed by the sounds made by male actors, they growl in the same way during 20-45 mins of fucking, i guess they will be more exhausted by growling that way than by fucking a girl for all that time.
