if you can do it, turn PHP's DL to ON. otherwise ask your support people. my support people did it in minutes for me;seem to be a non issue for them.

Very much this. I found that I had a combination of both of those and it led to thousands of duplicate pages in Google. Took me a long time to get it sorted out. I of course changed them to a consistent url and put a rel canonical tag on my videos. All seems to be well now but I could have avoided the whole mess by just fixing that from the start.
Also, put loader.php in your robots.txt file. Google has a problem with that for some reason. I don't know if it has any effect but it will show up as many 'empty redirects'
Cosmo,
I add videos to the thumbnail queue, I then goto the queue - they are all there waiting for me to click start. I click start and in one second the queue goes to zero and the completed thumbs count is incremented - the stop button goes grey and the start button is enabled. thats happening now if I have 20 or 100 videos in the queue. And whats making this weird is that did not happen before yesterday. before yesterday I got normal behavior from the thumbnail queue.
I realize this is likely something I need to bring up with my hosting people - but before I do that - I was hoping you might recognize that behavior and know the cause. that way I can just tell my support kids what to fix. the alternative is hoping my support kids have troubleshooting skills. and I know they dont...................
anyway Cosmo - does that sound like something you have heard of before with the thumbnail queue?
MGhost
There is a counter at the right side, that says "Failed". Does this counter grows? I saw something similar while procesing videos, because of badly encoded videos, but never with thumbs.
You can look to the /data/ directory. There are some logs there, one of them called thumbs-queue.log.. maybe you find something there. And I'm thinking that maybe the problem comes from a disk without space?
COSMO - I started a new thread on this specific problem - if you care to join in - http://www.askdamagex.com/showthread.php?t=54178
I thought this new direction of the thread needed its own place.....
