Which keyword is best for keywords ranking on search engine?

It's depend upon the keywords, check which keyword has less competitive with high local search count value, select that keyword. Also check the Google insight count for that keyword.

I think "Programmers" keywords is good.as it will give your ranking for Programmer keyword also...

the best are long tail keywords. Lots of long long tail keywords can bring u significant traffic from very specific niches.

use your common sense...if you are about to offer one programmer, go with "programmer" if you have more, then go with programmers...easy as that..think with a visitors head...what would you search for...how and why...actually, going for "programmer" will lead you nowhere..go for long tail keywords, just like Bangthemes said..if you are about to offer PHP programmers, go with php programmers...etc or even..if you are cheaper then others, go with cheap php programmer...also, i would search for a "reliable" or "quality" php programmer..if you want "quality" hits, go for quality..not quantity

Programmer is the high search volume keywords and programmers are less keywords, i think both will take time to getting ranking, you can work programmer for 70% and programmers for 30%, both will improve, because its a synonyms keywords.
