Here are some other hints:
- Claim your profile by logging into Google Places, Bing Local, Yahoo Local - go through their verification steps so no one else swipes your profile.

-Don't forget pictures. Local listings like to show the pic of the business. Upload pics of your business and make sure your you own the rights to those pics. They don't have to be professionally shot but since they represent your business make sure they don't look fuzzy or out of focus - good sharp photos from a digi cam should work fine.
