Ask them if they'll take paypal. Your hosts already know about this situation, they know if will affect a lot of their customers, and I guess they'd rather get their money through paypal rather than not getting it at all.

i cant say for 100% sure, but if i can remember, when epassporte asked my documents (they receive it 16 March, 2009, and i didnt take too long to send), some of my buddies didnt had to, at least by the time.

I think you will find they ask for the docs when your account goes over a set amount which then triggers the request for docs. It's what I believe happens, but I don't think it is printed anywhere in the T&C's.

yup thats what i thought, something that automatically triggers the documents request. i wonder if maybe this wasnt sufficient for visa or the bank, or whoever wanted epass visa account suspended.

OMFG do they have to wait till the end of the day to make this announcement -
I got up at 5am my time to make coffee watch the news and work and wait for announcement took xanax with first cup -
Meeting at 9am - more xanax return to my office wait wait wait for epassporte news nada === lunch at 11 more xanax oh the bottles getting a little low ring the doc for a new RX great got it ~ wait how will I pay for it FAWKKKK well thats what credit cards are for emergency!

This shits driving me insane I have thousands tied up over this and pending payments stranded in the middle from sponsors as well

Then theres the hosting company ---- I have clients that pay with Epassporte {many of which with no other fast method of payment} I cant very well suspend them for non-payment knowing whats going on at least until some final news breaks....
Its becoming a big house of cards at this time that is not fucking cool.
I feel like im neck deep in this crap with no way out and now im carrying other people in the same boat too.

exactly what do you think a show titled "Shame on You" is going to find more interesting, running a story about how some adult webmasters are having to wait maybe a week or two in order to get their funds, or would it perhaps be more sensational to run a story about someone's midget bukkake site and the supposed exploitation of the performers?

any chance you have enough balance so some sponsor or a service like a traffic broker or something to send you a payment via paypal? thats what saved my ass this month. Or Paypal just deny your participation because of your country? Maybe your hosting company can wait, they are probably aware and worried about this situation.

Am sure they do know about this situation, its hostgator and many Wm's were paying by epass. Will contact them, am sure they will prolong my hosting for week or two! But if this epass sit don't get resolved soon or even worst goes to shit, i really dont know what to do then, like many others!

I'm wondering if maybe they didn't ask for docs from everyone who listed a USA address, and then randomly for those outside the USA... purely speculation, but there must be a reason why some folks got that documentation request years ago, and others only got it recently en masse. I don't think an inordinate number of people all hit that $5k or whatever limit simultaneously.

Only partly true. They started a general acct verification process a cpl of years ago. Up to that point there where little to none "verified" accounts in there. What the story is now I don't know.

i have like 20+ % seo on some sites because i think some competitors couldnt pay for their hosting.

Your possibly right in this also. I can only go by the two accounts my partner and I have. Where one is constantly higher than the other and this was the one they asked to be verified. The other has not been verified.

I actually had some huge gains in SE rankings too, but I doubt it has anything to do with competitors getting shut off by their hosts yet. It is too soon for that. It might just be a normal google update.
