I was looking at new lenses the other day thinking it might be time to buy more gear. Come to find out the price of Canon gear has actually increased not by much but it has slightly. My guess would have to be that unlike chip dies shrinking in circuitry and electronics becoming more affordable lenses don't shrink and less sales translate to higher glass production costs.
This year is going to be one of many coming transitions that decide who will remain and still be making money from adult in the future.

Ive noticed a bit of a trend lately that full price joins sell better then trials. I suppose its chain reaction from people being afraid of getting royally fucked. Cant say I blame them.
I don't promote many programs that offer trials, but I have noticed a trend over the last 6 to 8 months that the percentage of sales for non-recurring memberships, which are usually slightly higher priced or multi-month, has been steadily increasing.

The summer slowdown was attributed a lot back a few years ago with the reduction of all those new college freshmen that had a years worth of surfing and in some cases no internet as they went back home.
I do think you see a surge in processing partially because there are new consumers injected into the net that have never had a connection before or have not been unsupervised to watch porn.
However with the credit crunch Ill venture to guess that the surge this year isnt as big as it has been.
You also have other summer factors like vacations, kids being at home etc that slow down buys in this business.
This in mind Ive avoided the summer slowdown in the past by retooling or rebuilding new things that garner more interest. I did not do this last year and now I am sorry but Im fast at work on new things to try and make up some lost ground.

I was also wondering about the same thing. I'm new to this but my traffic is increasing everyday. I have on average 400 unique visitors a day now but no sale. Compare to last where I only had an average of 150/unique visitors.
I'm not really worry about sales, traffic is my concern for now. How long would it takes to drive 10,000 visitors a day to blog site and what is the best way to achieve that?
