Refusing to pay affiliates or even give explanations as to when any money will be forthcoming at all. Also they use a points payments system on the board where service providers have accepted the points which they are currently unable to cash out.

The proof is in the pudding as seen in the thread below which contains a statement by one of the owners blowing smoke. No one would stand for others pulling this type of crap and Netpond should be treated equally. There are discussions out of public view and now its time to shine more light in the public view where everyone can see it. We all need to do our part to keep sponsors honest and the more pressure threads like this create the faster webmasters will get paid. This sponsor in particular actually has more more to lose in board advertising revenue. I would therefore suggest advertisers stop paying and supporting these scammers until they decide to start paying their debts.

I think the paysites, and Netpond itself are different issues. I don't know the full background, but it does seem that Netpond have been let down over the paysites, and there are some court cases on the go. I'm not sure why that should affect affiliate payments, especially for the sites that may not be part of the cases, and a bit of an explanation would go a long way to reassuring affiliates. I hope that either NPC or CU can come out of this, and that I will be able to continue promoting them.

Netpond itself has gone through some major changes recently, and I suspect it is time to review the structure of the posting payments model. It is a good time for consolidation and growth for the forum, and I hope it will be able to continue to give new webmaster help and assistance in the future.

Needs to be at the top of the list since the owner of Netpond has admitted that he is in fact using affiliate money to fund his personal legal battle as he is broke.

Rogue it sounds like Webmasters need to just drop any sponsor who advertises on Netpond since there is only one good way to skin a cat.

I make that same suggestion to anyone who happens to visit or post on Netpond. Make them know that you wont do business with any advertisers on their board and spread the word. As individuals who do our own thing we are all near powerless. But as an industry that bands together we can force out the garbage like Netpond making way for new and better sponsors to have a chance to shine. The days of thieves being protected because they have friends such as Ynot who brokers and makes commissions from Netpond advertising deals needs to end and it needs to end now.

Such a shame, because the portal concept is a great way forward for the adult biz.

this true? i'm really suprised, it was pretty much open knowledge who they were meant to be sueing was, i'd have thought that the other party would have said something!!!!!

afaik it's true. If there really was a case, then there should be a record. Maybe they exchanged legal letters, and Aga got scared or something. You don't move your business out of the country just as you are starting a major court case - well not unless you know you are going to lose and want to avoid paying anything.

Given the amount of damage done to Netpond (and its current supporters). Had there been any truth in the court case story, somebody would have leaked the info. Instead LB dumped his points at around 10% of their value, he must have know that they would never be redeemed.
