About Stumble Porn
Stumble Porn is a website along with a toolbar extension for firefox. User download the toolbar and create an account with stumbleporn.com. Once their account is activated through an email confirmation they can use the toolbar to view and rate porn. The user click the "Stumble Porn" button on the tool bar and it redirects their browser to A pornographic website that has been submit by other users. All the sites a user views can fit in to 1 of the categories the user selected they liked when they signed up. A user can also change their categories at anytime use the setting button on the toolbar. After viewing a site the user has the option of rating the site with the toolbar. The highest rated sites get seen first and therefore more often. A user can also flag a site for being a broken link, not porn, or in the wrong category. The flagged site show up in the back end and can be view and deleted easily. The last feature is the "hide" button which hides the toolbar and set redirects the users browser to google.com. User can submit a site to the system by simply pressing the "I'd hit it" button on the toolbar while view a site want submitted.

Back End: The backend let the administrator add their own sites to the rotation which all users will see first next time they use the toolbar. There is also a script that can be run manually or in a cron job that searches newly submitted sites for a link to Stumbleporn.com, if one is found that site receives a higher rating.

I actually 'stumbled' on this website a little while back. Thought it was a pretty good idea. Was the first site I had seen like this in adult. The other major 'stumble' site is obviously stumbleupon.com.

Your right... they have been used (and currently are) to steal traffic from affiliates... so I think we have the right to be suspicious of them.

there's nothing inherently wrong with toolbars. of course they have the potential to be misused.

if I had the resources to promote it properly I'd look into one myself now.
