Thread: 100 Facebook LIKES and growing for my links site!

WHILE FaceBook's stock is doing down, my sites page on FB has its LIKES going up. actually almost expotentionally in the last week. I have NO IDEA how or why. But I will enjoy the moment while it lasts!

FB does have that whole "age limitation" admin page and I always set mine to 18+ only. And yet I have had some of my pages shut down despite my using the age restriction. I think FB is itself trying to figure out what approach to take. after all ignoring the adult world is forgetting all about a LOT of money willing to be spent in making ads. and these days - proving its gonna make big bucks in advertising is item one on FBs critics list.

I think for FB its a matter of what wording I use to talk about the site - the words in the sites domain - and the graphics I choose to use when posting on the pages. I am sure I crossed the line on some of those shut down pages - and other shutdown pages had me surprised that they got slapped. I am either lucky or not yet crossed the line on those that are yet spared the FB smackdown.

as to getting to specifics - Im a little gun shy on talking about exact page urls when it comes to fb, twitter, google+, youtube.....regular webpages I dont mind posting - but those "web 2.0" pages are a single "concerned citizen" report from getting shut down......so talking in general is more to my liking....

Thanks for the reply, i have searched G for tuts/threads/anything on using fb for an adult site, their is not much out there on this topic, that i have found. As such not had a go didn't want to waste the time to have it/them deleted, so this thread could get long, lol, am sure there would be others interested in this topic.

When you are talking about FB page, are you talking about a personal account(page) or a fan page? Hope that is the right way to put it. Have you tried both and if so, if i could ask, what are your thoughts, tips or guidelines on success adding to your post above.
