Default Google Penalties for traffic trades and traffic redirects ?

I'm getting ready to launch a new site in the adult niche, I had intentions to do some traffic trading but after speaking with some other webmasters with TGP sites I became even more confused about traffic trades.

Now to my knowledge there are forced traffic trades where depending on set parameters you receive "x" amount of traffic. My question is, does google therefor penalize your site for not having organic traffic and does this also lower your PR ranking?

I think in my personal opinion it would be better to have a much higher PR and google positioning than to pay for traffic that might not convert to a subscriber anyway..

    Thanks for your opinions!

    Regards,

    Derek

Please forgot about PR in the original meaning, thatīs been dumped by google about 3 years ago.

The biggest ranking factor for google right now is time spend on site and quality of the site, not so much about how many sites actually link to you.

Of course automatic redirects are going to hurt your rankings, google doesnīt seem to like that.

AFAIK you don't get penalized for "forced" traffic trading. There are other things TGPs can get penalized for, but the blind redirection of surfers isn't necessarily one of them.

if you're really concerned about it just set your search engine traffic to not be skimmed off like the traffic coming from trades is. hopefully most trade script authors have set their scripts to not skim googlebot etc, but who knows.

For some reason i only received notification today that you all had replied to the thread and would like to thank everyone for their feedback,

As far as i can tell, the site in question has been hit with an algorithmic penalty due to unnatural backlinks which have been added by other webmasters in an attempt ( which actually worked ) to maliciously hinder the site I'm speaking of. In a continuing attempt to further resolve the situation I decided to clean up the site, remove unneeded backlinks and in doing so I've found backlinks which i didn't create, trade for or purchase, that are from completely different non adult entities! Also... I've found some adult sites that link to me sitewide on all of their pages.. one site in particular ( www.Areaporn.com ) links to me 290k times!!!!

I've sent in numerous re-inclusion requests, with no response from Google what so ever! I'm am completely at my wits end over this. It's been over a year that this is effecting my site and seems to have no end in sight if Google doesn't respond to my emails>>

Does anyone know how to contact www.areaporn.com besides the form on their website OR have any ideas as to how i can get the hell out of the sandbox>???????

    Any reply would be appreciated!
