Default the better method of making a page at facebook for SEO

I searched here in the forums for facebook in the titles. I see a lot from 2008, 2009. Just one from 2012. so Im going to reopen the discussion in what I think is a valid question.

Do you think (Know?) that the SEO value of your sites Page is diminished if you make a page on FB thats associated with another existing account on FB, RATHER THAN giving that page its own account (on a new email addy) ???

The pros to doing it that way is you can make pages for all your sites linked to a single FB account (single email).
I'd like to know if the CON is that one FB account touting several to a dozen pages for websites isnt as effective as the alternative of a new FB acocunt for each site.

    thanks

PS: its a GOOD question and others might like to know the answer too.....................

While I am yet to dabble with Facebook personally... My understanding is that, provided your account and/or fanpage are somewhat established, linking to your sites from them does provide additional authority to it. Which in turn works out to better rankings. However, again, don't quote me on it, it's just hearsaying to me. Haven't verified it to be accurate, so take it for what it is.

Right, thats somewhat the thing I heard too. What wasnt touched on in the few google hits I read on the topic was if the SE's wanted (or even could TELL for that matter) these pages to be linked to their own unique FB accounts. Im hoping it doesnt matter - that would make like a bit easier to just login to a single account and post updates to the various pages I created. Anyway thanks for the reply.

When you create page it works as individual entity. I dont think association with any existing or new account makes difference in that
