I just ran into a serious problem.
I like Traffic Holder, however i do not want to sell my traffic to Tubes. Basically Trafficholder has a personal Blacklist feature, however as i found out you cannot put more then 100 buyers into the blacklist. At the moment i just reached 100 blacklisted tubes. So from now on, I cannot stop new tube buyers from buying traffic from me. Therefore, I am forced to sell traffic to sites i dont like. Is your blacklist on TH also limited to 100 items, or is it just a policy for nonVIP sellers? |

and why don't you stop selling traffic to them?
send your extra traffic to FHG's or to some other site you own... maybe some blog...

TH just doesn't want to increase the Blacklist for you. If you can blacklist 100, then why couldn't you do 1k, or 100k. Its a simple setting on their end, not like they'd have to rewrite their entire script.
They just dont want to mess with it. You should have other options that can stop this like you do with TA, but if you dont then drop them and move on to another Broker.

traffic holder blows in my book. They hit me for a fee on a epass deposite that they said was standard practice that they didnt hit me for 2 days before when i deposited. Then on top of that 9% to withdraw my funds. Good solid business thier :/
And on top of that i can look threw their sale list and see a good bit of hitbotting sites. So i guess they don't care what they sell back to the buyer. |

If you aren't selling to Ravo you are giving away your traffic... pure fact.

FPCTraffic is a traffic BUYING site; we buy *all* the traffic you send to us, even if we don't have a buyer for it. In some cases we lose money on some clicks, but it's made up for with higher profits on other clicks. We also buy a portion of the traffic for our own sites. So, I *do* agree that our system (from a technical and even user-friendly point of view) is not very sophisticated, and in fact dated. It's evolved over the past 9 years; that's why it *looks* clunky. But, believe me, the system is very effective and very flexible from an admin point of view. It's highly configurable for both buyers' and sellers' accounts. I believe that's why I can complete against more sophisticated looking systems; I can give our clients exactly what they want. Have I thought abour opening a true skimmed traffic brokerage? Certainly. But, the space is too crowded already. (altho' as some people know, I have developed a banner brokerage system). I'll stick the system I have and upgrade as I go. The scripting is very robust, and seems to scale very nicely. Sorry for the somewhat long winded post, but I just wanted to share my point of view on the whole thing. Last edited by Ravo; December 19th, 2009 at 01:26 PM. Reason: typo |
