SEO Question: Class B ips, Name Servers.. etc?
OK I am in a dilemma... and don't know which road to take
1) Get a totally different class B ip at my host, and my DNS servers will stay the same
2) Get a new hosting account, and not only will I get totally different class b, but also different name servers
My question is, when ranking the SERPS does BIg G look at nameservers too? Or IP addresses only to determine the relation between two sites?

Yes they do look at nameservers, ip addresses and apparently whois information as well.

Assuming Class B you are asking with IP space that starts with 128.1.0.1 to 191.255.255.254 no?
yes because google can so just look at your servers date/time stamp and see your stuff. Not unless google spiders you every single day.
In my experience any thread talking about SEO and "class <x>" usually has nothing to do with legacy IP allocation.No one seems to want to use the correct /24, /16 etc references...

Dont get too caught up on the nameservers thing. Especially if your using your hosts nameservers like for example ns1.mojohost.com or ns1.choopa.com or ns1.yellowfiber.net
Thousands of sites are hosted on these nameservers and google is very aware of this.
If you can get a couple different a's and then under a particular a, hook you up with c's then you will be in very good shape regardless of nameservers.
If your using your own nameservers then I would have them different yes.
Honestly, I agree with FrozenJag. You shouldn't worry too much about nameservers issue. Just work on building your sites for your visitors and get bookmarkers traffic and google will take care of you.
Didn't we learn already google traffic isn't that reliable (lately with the ST issue)?
