Default Rumor: Brazzers and content theft

I guess some of you saw the threads on GFY, Brazzers is rumored to run pornhub.com that has some unlicensed content.

I don't really have an opinion on this and will let you draw your own conclusion... You can do your own research

pretty crazy... in the thread they said they were associated with the company that's running pornhub.com but not at the same time :X

The managing partner of the Traffic company approached us to start a tube style site under Brazzers Traffic. We refused, given our position in the industry...owning such a site would be working agains our own interest. Thus a separate company was formed in which we have no financial interest, and that company operates pornhub.com .

For us, it would make no sense to own a site like that, the margins just dont justify the expense, and it would be 100% against the interests of our core business.

it amazes me that anyone reads that forum at all anymore.

a valid concern is brought up, the accused admits to conducting business with the perpetrators and clarifies his involvement with them, then the moderator calls all the posters "conspiracy theorists" and lauds the accused who's chosen to do business with supposed content thieves.

GFY 'bro club' is just a myth

I sometimes tried to read that board when I get really bored.
It is full of shit since like forever. So I give up mostly in seconds.

The separation between adx and gfy is pretty wide in focus and content. gfy is a marketing tool for sponsors that we just don't get subjected to here. DX will call a sponsor out in a hot second on bullshit and I don't think I have EVER seen that happen on gfy (except maybe trey) because their main purpose is to be a marketing tool for sponsors.

Personally, I don't promote Brazzers because some of their tactics are pure bullshit in my book... like "not buying traffic" when offering $30/year for a link on one of my sites. In this situation, I think people should read between the lines... They aren't partners or have a financial stake in pornhub.com but they do have other partnerships with the company that runs them. This is the basic issue with this industry... alot of people lack any real ethics and they play this type of bullshit head game. I vote "guilty by association and conspiracy". Here is why... if you rob a business and I know about it and don't say anything... am I guilty of a crime? I know for a fact that if the authorities found out that I knew they would charge me with conspiracy...

It's about the power of affiliates and their traffic. I know some will flame me before thinking about what I'm saying but please listen for a minute.

If affiliates were united enough to move all their traffic off sites that were screwing them the sites screwing them would not be screwing them so much. Or they would live without affiliates.

Business is the jungle you make it. If you want it to be different you have to be prepared to go further than posting on boards. And the problem is that's as far as many people will go. The response to Acacia was a big eye opener for me.

I didn't read the stuff on GFY, but from the part of the response that was posted above, I don't really see what the problem is, or what it has to do with Brazzers.

Because they work with someone who also runs this tube site doesn't make it their responsibility. They said they don't own the company that runs the tube site and have no financial stake in it. How does that make them responsible?

That's like holding DamageX responsible for stuff that happens on cheaterhell because he and Pornonada work together on some stuff here.

you make a good point, but also can be looked at as

me interpretation coming from brazzers: "we fund pornhub but dont want any connection between us and pornhub, so to avoid anymore mention of it, Eric please close that thread" or something along those lines
