Essentially I have a client looking to do the following. Here is his info & all specs.
He has a work PC.....with a cable internet connection. He would like ALL of his communications to pass through a server. I'm not just talking simple http/socks proxies. I mean ALL communications he wants to be relayed through this outside server. So when he runs for example, aim, ftp, his web browser, ssh, ANYTHING that involves an outside connection, he would like it relayed as if the outside server were doing it all by itself. What would this be called....tcp tunneling etc? |

He wants a proxy server on that outside machine, really..
Maybe what you want is a VPN?

I used to use a proxy server from Microsoft that was pretty killer. I think the setup might be easier with windoze if he's using that at home/office. Not sure though.. Do you have a preference between Windoze and Linux on the server?
