I believe that the problem is that you are embedding sites that don't own the content, they've stolen it themselves and hidden behind "user uploads" apart from the fact that you and they are using stolen content to try and make money from, you also have no leg to stand on if any of those performers end up being underage.

At the end of the day, your site only gives surfers more free porn to wank over, its hard to make momey from a site where the surfer gets given everything they need for free, According to some rumours, even the huge tubes have trouble making a profit.

Who's getting mad? I just don't see why we should actively help someone do this, especially when "helping" him in this case would just be steering him down a path that's no good to him, either, in the long run.

well, he isnt just chipping away at an illegal tube's profits is he? Every bookmark he gains is a potential buyer lost forever to all of us. Who's going to pay for porn once they have found an illegal tube that panders to their every need for free?

That is nothing new. But what are you going to do? As previously discussed on the other thread, more illegal and even legal full length tube is going to pop up. You can't stop the trends.

This is 2010, everyone knows how to find porn on tube and even if they haven't yet they will. It only a matter of time before the user find it if he haven't. So if he able to gain bookmark users good for him, let them stay on his site instead of pornhub. If you think some traditional TGP/MGP can compete with free stuff against tube you are doom. There are some user who are TGP/MGP fans and you need to target those people, similiar to those who are Mac addict. TGP/MGP isn't dead, but traffic going to tube should not be compare as potential traffic going to TGP/MGP. These are two different traffic.

I'm not suprise if some webmaster who were anti-tube from start on this board going behind the scene and do a full length or illegal tube like he did. It already happen, but they just don't talk about it. I can't speak for eveyone, but I think a lot of people have regret they didn't start it earlier. Teaching the noob not to start a tube, he'll regret it later too. Learn your lesson and move on.

there's nothing wrong with teaching a noob to have a tube but just dont theach them to have an illegal one. Tesco's don't teach people to shoplift for obvious reasons.

I just don't agree DMCA tubes have a long term future. And I think if you look closely enough you can see the cracks already. But I don't want to turn this into another navel gazing tube thread.
