    Default Hi Guys

    Hi Everybody....

My name is Mr Monty and I am new to the boards and new to the adult biz. I just put up my first adult wordpress blog yesterday, and I've been putting in pictures and updating the templates and all that.

I was wondering if i could find anybody on here that runs adult porn blogs and ask them just how many do you run at any one time? Im not talking about splogs here, im talking about hand-written content around certain niche areas....

I'm thinking of making about 10 to 20 niche blogs and getting target traffic towards my sponsors.

Do you think this is a good way of going about things, or will i need lots of TGP and free sites and a zillion other things as well?

its pretty new so im not sure if the dns has rolled over in all areas yet.

its pretty rough around the edges as I am still learning.

I am also doing a link exchange if you'd like. Although I dont have any page-rank at the moment I'm working really hard on this site so hopefully in a few months it will be a lot better.

Do you have any advice / hints / criticism for me? - the site is by no means finished, and i would love to hear what you all have to say.

    Default Welcome

Mr. Monty I will assume that you have done some research prior to deciding to begin a blog to promote a strapon pay site. So I am not sure why you would ask if this is a good way to generate traffic for your sponsor as it appears that you have already made this decision, otherwise you would not have started the blog.

As far as the blog goes, it is a start and will get better as you go.
The number of blogs will be determined by how much time you want to spend promoting your sponsors and your ability to write seo rich content for each blog niche you decide upon.

I am not an expert on this subject by no means but have been steadily working on blogs for the past few months and find the more you learn and the more effort you put into it the more results you will see as far as the numbers of visitors that visit your blog.

My personal experience on this board is the more direct question you ask the better response you will get as nobody is going to spill the secrets of porn universe for the mere asking. Those that hold the knowledge I would say for the most part learned it the hard way and each found similar but distinct paths to the inner sanctum. Lots to learn and dues to pay, I have yet to find any shortcuts. Wishing you much success.

    hi.

Thanks so much for your warm welcome.

I have done a fair bit of research. But I heard from others that the best thing to do was get started and learn as you go, so I thought I would just give it a try.

I will be adding lots of things next weekend, and hopefully that will get me started.

thanks for all your advice and input so far.

Mr. Monty, a suggestion, you should be consistent and have your pics and mouseover text open as a separate window so that the surfer is still on your site and does not have to click back to get to your site.

I would recommend that you strike a balance between too much advertising for too many sponsors on one site or making a blog feel too commercialized versus being amateur and personal. Not sure which would get the most followers or visitors. I have a blog with 1.74 visits per visitor, so I would tend to think that keeping it in between may be the way.

Some blogs are over commercialized and personally I am overwhelmed by them. Everybody has their own style and you just need to find what works for you.

Also need to find folks to trade links with and submit to blog directories. If you have a stats script installed keep track of the search engines that are visiting your site and check to see if the major search engines have indexed your site. It is a slow process but don't give up.

    Thanks gforce
I got indexed by google today, so thats a start. I want to make my blogs personal, hand-writing each one, becasue i dont want them to be too "spammy". I figured there is a lot of experimenting to do, and once i get some decent traffic I can try different things.

I noticed you said "I have a blog with 1.74 visits per visitor" is that a typo..... what do you mean?

Means that the same visitors return more than once to the site. Since the program tracks IPs it is able to keep track of return visitors.
