Leave it default settings. I've found it to work best when left alone.
If you get a lot of no-trade coming in big time, just view IP and ban it using htaccess.. or it can do it by itself by going to Security > IP Daemon

Modify template and add columns for open proxy in and open proxy clicks, then keep an eye on them.

I just did this and my best trade shows:
    OP In: 19
    OP clicks: 723

May I assume this is a cheater?

Sorry if this question seems obvious....

Looks like it. Set it to show % though, not #.

Yeah, but the smaller the trade volume the bigger the variation.

I keep reading that people leave ATX at the default settings and it runs their sites fine...

But when I did that my sites just got smaller and smaller.

For example I have a trade with 20% prod and despite the settings saying minimum prod 150% the script just keeps on sending traffic to the trade. Surely it should disable the trade for not meeting the required minimum productivity.

I was talking to someone earlier on ICQ and we couldnt work out why there is a setting for minimum prod if the script doesnt actually do anything with it.

did you set the trade type to 'capped'? Otherwise those min and max settings don't do anything. Also, do you have a couple of trades at full mode?
I recently saw an installation - I believe it was AT lite though - where every single trade was capped, and almost all caps were in effect.
That totally screwed up everything of course. So make sure that the cap can do its job...

Contact me if you can't figure out the caps and i'll take a look.

    btw, i realized that this
return % of clicks does not really work like it should
    but capped works great

should i cap all my trades or just trades which i am forcing ??
will it be a good thing to cap all my trades with a minimum percentage of PRODuctivity and some percentage of return ?

Assuming 'Capped'... It doesn't disable them, it just moves them to the bottom of the Outgoing list

I havent played with capping trades yet, I've used return % of clicks with some success.

If I was going to try capping a trade so that I dont oversend back, would I leave min prod and min value II fields blank and only enter a max return value ? Would that make sure I wasnt sending too much back ?

I've got a trade where I am number one on his toplist but he's not a big site, so although his traffic is productive I'm always sending too much back, I could keep my number one slot even if I sent 30% less to him.
