I had a server with their parent company UK2.net

Be aware that all UK2 and 100TB servers are unmanaged and only with Webmin as CP. Everything else costs extra. CP from $25 to $40 monthly, managed support costs $69 per month.

The server I had with them was awesome, connection was very fast, never had any downtimes. Although I had an unmanaged server with hardware support only, the support (ticket system) always replied within minutes and often went beyond what was actually included in my service.

I then tried their managed option, which they buy from external company and imo was not worth $69 a month. Also ticket based only and reply times were a lot slower then their in house support.

So, if you are able to do everything yourself and want an unmanaged root server, I'd absolutely recommend them. If you want a managed server, I'd look elsewhere.

Well, I personally still use Webair - support during night times (their time zones) can suck sometimes, but overall I think you get a really good value for the money. I'd suggest hitting up Gerard at ICQ 243116321, I'm sure he can get you a better price than what they have on their homepage.

I also heard great things about AmeriNOC (they also have very competitive prices). Other quality hosts offering fully managed servers, but surely not cheap, are Webazilla and Mojohost.

Then maybe AmeriNOC is worth a try. I always refer to their prices to get a discount on my existing server with Webair From what I read support is not as supreme as with MojoHost of course, but definitely decent for what you pay.

Or Webair, I currently have a kickass deal for my content server (a lot of bandwidth included) which matched the price I had at UK2. I bet if you ask nicely Gerard or Metz can offer you a very nice package, aswell.

If you want to save money it might be worth it to learn how to manage your own server. It's not that difficult or time consuming once set up. To help learn just install the OS your server uses on a home machine so you can learn on that. It will take a while to pick up everything and be good but in my experience few people will care as much as you do about getting things right even when you pay them top dollar.
