Thread: Google Plus now required to have a Gmail account.

Looks like they are craving more personal data and they are doing everything they can to link us to our use of Google services.

It's going to be a huge pain to switch all my email addresses but I guess I will have to soon.

I stick to Windows Live Mail and they see nothing.

Yeah, that sucks. Recently signed up for a second Gmail account and was auto signed up for shitty Google+

However, you can deactivate that again and completely delete your Google+ profile. It's somewhere in the settings, of course a bit hidden, but it's there. In case you don't find it, Google it

You can disable it for now but now they have the info needed to re-activate in the future.
