First step will be wait until they get something figured out, a couple hours after visa cards have been pulled, is a little early to get into contingency plans.

I've got work to do, if money isn't accessible soon then its time to devote energy to it.

Yep, hasnt worked since about 3pm EST. Anything to do with the card or virtual visa number is un-usable. If its in your wallet, you can withdrawal by wire.

Everyone's cards have been suspended it's not hard to understand.

I just hope funds in the Visa side rather then Wallet can still be withdrawn without hassle.

I never wire transfered from epass, and it says not all accounts can wire. I have dropped them a message and asked if my account can wire.

Anyone knows their policy which accounts are able to withdraw by wire?

From: Christopher Mallick, Owner, ePassporte.com <http://ePassporte.com>

Dear ePassporte Account Holders,

Please be advised that, at 12:00 PM PDT today, September 2, 2010, we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner’s (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program. The ePassporte e-Wallet program continues to be up and running, except funds cannot be transferred between your Visa Account and your e-Wallet. At this time ePassporte can no longer issue Visa Cards, and the ability for our Account Holders to make point of sale purchases and withdraw funds from ATMs has also been suspended.

At this time we do not know why this drastic action was taken by Visa. To us, it is unconscionable that such action would be taken without the opportunity for ePassporte to fully understand Visa’s reasons and to be able to take all steps necessary to keep our program running the way it has so successfully done for over 7 years. But that is what Visa has done.

As soon as we have more information we will be in contact with you.

In the meantime please be assured that your funds are safe.

We are very sorry for the short notice and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The ePassporte team is working diligently to rectify this situation.

We kindly ask you to bear with us while we work through this issue.

Please feel free to contact us via the message center or at our call center, should you have any questions, comments or concerns.

Thank You,

Christopher Mallick

And all my hosting bills and so on which automatically charge from that virtual visa are now going to break. Sigh. Like I really needed more work right now.

This is temporary and I can assure you we will resolve this issue as soon as possible. Please just bear with us as we work through this with Visa and add additional services for you withdraw via ATM and use at Point of Sale Merchant locations.

Which needs to be proven. For some reason I have a bad feeling for even funds in the wallet. Also I think even if they want to send out wires, what happens if everyone wiring funds out at the same time? Wouldn`t that alone cause another disaster?

I truely hope my feeling is wrong. Even if there would no atm card, I could still collect smaller payments on epass and wire them as needed.

How long does it usually take for the wire to arrive for you?

Well it takes about a day for them to reply to your request. After that you download, fill out, and upload the request form and im thinking I had it in 3 or 4 business days last time.

Oh, and I believe that the reason why they disabled transfers between the virtual visa and the wallet has nothing to do directly with visa. Majority of the funds are on the visa and only funds on the wallet are available for payouts.

That will be the only way to survive the withdrawal wave.
