it's the reaction to stuff like this which makes me embarassed to be an American sometimes. this had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the job that the man was elected for. in other societies it's not uncommon for a politician to be seen with a mistress at public events. somehow the people they represent manage to contain themselves instead of behaving like like little kids teasing and taunting until the situation becomes a distraction from anything relevant.
and what was all of this over? a few nudie pics? that is somehow more significant than the role this man played in lambasting his colleagues for not supporting 9/11 responders who were literally dying without public assistance?
