Don't let them fool you any fence is intended to keep us inside as much as it is to keep anyone else out. If you wanted to enter this country it's very easy by boat since most of the coast line is wide open.

Our government needs to protect the interests of Canadian Marijuana imports so you can bet the border will never be totally secure. Without the drug imports people will start growing their own and it's much harder to catch small scale or personal growers. If you can't catch people then you aren't filling up the jails and prisons or making big bucks from fines. With a fence however you make it harder for independant runners which jacks up the street value for larger importers.

Here in FL every week thousands of needless Marijuana related charges are brought before judges and magistrates. Minimum fine (used to be $500) is $1,000 + court fees, probation fees, impound fees and legal fees simply for personal possession. So you can bet the courts are making money hand over fist from the pointless war on drugs. The trafficking industry has become one of the biggest cash cows for law enforcement since they often get to seize and liquidate houses, boats, cars, jewelry and stacks of cash.

You can actually slaughter someone while DUI and in some cases get less time then you would for simple possession of a pound of Marijuana with mere intent to sell. Now say buy a hand full of dime bags since that's what many street dealers sell. Then you happen to get pulled over and now they can nail you with intent to sell simply because of the way it's packaged.

Everyone knows that Canadians come here to get a good job and free health care...
