Hello! Here's my situation: I have some mainstream hosting clients that were majorly impacted by the economy these past couple years and lost a lot.
Several are registered non-profits and just really terrific people that help out the local community. I want to help them get back on their feet by helping them get fresh websites by reasonably priced designers who want to add mainstream samples to their port or who want to branch off into mainstream as sep. projects.
Their budgets are not significant, and I will be helping with covering some of the cost.
These people are ones that lost their livelihood and in some cases their homes, and now trying to start back up, so I am looking for a designer to work within a meager or reasonable budget.
Some only need coding help, and not necessarily website design, but help with things I dont know, such as css and jquery.
Others need a facelift for their sites to start fresh. NOT TEMPLATED designs and no wordpress. The folks I have in mind do not need commerce apps, just a nice web presence, though that knowledge would be helpful for the future.
Whomever takes them on will be asked to stay with me on call as my contact for other larger adult projects in the future as I rebuild my own business for more sustained mainstream clients as well as my hosted adult clients and possibly rebuild/expand my own network of sites.
Projects will start of slow, be slow-going for the first 6-10 months or so while we get these people taken care of, and then I will focus on the bigger clients.
