Hay.
This is maybe a bit lame of me, since TeenRevenue is a decent program but I got a problem with them, and they never reply to any of my tickets or icq messages.
So maybe they are going to react to this...

Here is the problem:
I referred a guy under their 200$ per active webmaster program. He did 16 sales. And "active webmasters" count shows 1. Still, I haven't seen any money.
Well its just 200$ but its still some bucks..

I tried to contact them how many sales a referred affiliate has to make to count as active etc.. but they never replied ;_;

I think the "1" that shows up is correct as it referrers to the webmasters you have referred. Of course the payout should show the US$ 200 after x amount required for the other webmasters is reached. Not sure how much it's in their terms, but i guess less than 16, so yes, strange it doesn't show up.

There are two ways to earn money by referring webmasters.
In my experience, the 5% option always brings more money, however there is also the flat rate $200 option.

Here's how it works. You refer a webmaster using the $200 referral link code and they join the program. They are now under your referral in your stats.

The $200 payout is triggered when the referred webmasters sends their 20th join to the program. This is what we consider "active".

The original poster failed to realize that he/she will only get paid once the referred webmaster is active, therefore making any claims against Teen Revenue null.

Locking this thread to prevent any further discussion on this topic as it's already established that Teen Revenue is legit.

His screenshot shows the 1 referred webmaster as ACTIVE. Claims are NOT null at all.

I gotta agree with DX. I have nothing against Teen Revenue, but those stats say the webmaster is Active. It says "Active Referred Webmasters".

It may just be use of the wrong word...but still, that's what it says.

It's a wording issue apparently. Active is active, but the payout gets triggered only after the 20th sale. It's as simple as that however maybe we need to re-word it.

I have been meaning to re-do our FAQ for awhile now and when I do this question will be addressed since I get asked it often.

It isn't as simple as that if you nowhere mention that 20 signups are required.

Why hidden it in the terms? Wouldn't it make more sense to add it where the Webmaster Referral Stats and/or the Webmaster Referreral Link are??

Yes indeed. I'm not trying to hide it. I just wanted to make sure it was there before we re-write the FAQ.

if you are looking to keep the webmasters which use the webmaster referral link informed and clear than i would place it exactly there where they are going to view it and not in the terms or faq in first place.

Why not just adding in the Webmaster Referral Summary for example
(active webmaster = 20 Signups).

I doubt that many webmasters check the terms (other as for banned countries) and even less a FAQ at least i can't remember when i readed one.

I just want to add here that I have never had any problems with Teenrevenue. They ALWAYS paid me in time. FYI to those that might wonder.

I agree. This issue is symantics and IMO, Chris and TR should not be in the shitlist thread at all. I think Tuab should not've really posted his complaint in 'this' thread per se'. There could've been other threads/routes to take re: this issue. This cool-ass thread is called the "SHITLIST" for a reason.

And Teen Revenue shouldn't be on it. Just because Chris needs to tweak his TOS/FAQ etc. doesn't really qualify TR to be listed as 'shit'.

Just my thoughts.
