Just saw this and wanted to let anybody reading that Metal Cash now redirects unprofitable countries to a dialer that webmasters get paid for.
Which is really interesting, because afaik German traffic placed on 2nd place of the most profitable country traffic, right behind the US... Why do they have to redirect that traffic instead of maybe adding an alternative payment solution for EU traffic?
Btw, do webmasters get credited for re-joins through the shitloads of spam they send to their former members?
OneWhoKnows: yes you are right germany is not an unprofitable country.
I cant see any dialer traffic or sexmoney joins in my stats.to a dialer that webmasters get paid for
by the way if i want my german traffic send to sexmoney....![]()
i will do it myself!!!

Shouldn't this have come via an announcement e-mail to affiliates, along with giving them an option to have the traffic redirected or not?Originally Posted by HardcoreJ

who is next after ibill, paymonde ....?
Are you guys joking? I don't think German traffic even redirects anymore. The countries that redirect now are countries that are blacklisted by processors and countries that have shown to make more money through dialer than credit cards.
You are now paid for ALL of the traffic that is redirected. Why would you choose to keep traffic going to a site when it can't join through credit card?
WE NO LONGER REDIRECT ANY TRAFFIC TO SEXMONEY, YOU RECIEVE 50% OF ALL DIALER REVENUE. What else do you guys expect?
Don't know anything about this from first hand experience but I'd think any sponsor would want to do whatever is most profitable with the traffic and if they are paying revshare on what they do with it then wouldn't you want them to be making the moves that are generating the most income too? The only problem is when they play games and take it out of the revshare system which it sounds like J is saying is not the case.

because germans have credit cards as well! - praise the lord. Why would you choose to keep traffic going to a site when it can't join through credit card?
and i dont know if you know, but germans are really pissed of by dialers...for all the abuse there was...
if a german surfer gets the first dialer instat the site he wants to see, he will never click any link on this site again.
my post was from the 02-22-2007 at this time you redirect german traffic to sexmoney!
and i checked several times. 5 min. ago was the first time i could even visit your sites without a proxy.
Regardless, shouldn't this have been precedented by an announcement to affiliates, who could also have been given the choice to redirect to your dialer or even redirect to a page of their own? I fully understand why sponsors need to redirect unprofitable countries, but my beef is with not announcing it.Originally Posted by HardcoreJ

Well the only change that was made is which countries are redirecting (less now than before) and where they are being redirected.Originally Posted by DamageX
In my eyes this isn't something that needs to be announced to affiliates because when the traffic was being sent to sexmoney we weren't able to track who made the sales at all. We're now paying our webmasters for revenue generated through the foreign traffic rather than redirecting to an untrackable source. Additionally we aren't offering the ability to turn the redirection feature on or off, so what would there be to announce?
this is what this thread was all about from the beginning....when the traffic was being sent to sexmoney we weren't able to track who made the sales at all
Yeah no kidding, thats why I'm telling you guys thats not happening anymore.Originally Posted by ska
Jeez, and that is something no one would care about? Give me a break.Originally Posted by HardcoreJ
