Thread: choopa.com hosting

I don't recommend to anyone to use this hosting for adult. I had server with them and yesterday they have immediately closed it for abuse on one small site ( I have 15 of them mostly in mature niche ). Of course all sites legal fully on FHGs, and I have tried to talk with choopa, but they don't want to hear anything. I have offered to close site in question, so that other sites will work - they say no. Have asked to get me ability to download data from my server to move it to another place - NO. Even for money. Instead of answer on tickets they just closed account and no access to tickets anymore.
So, if you want to get your adult biz be ruined in second for one false abuse - get hosted on choopa!

I still asking choopa to get me ability to dowload data. If they will not answer - I think they will bury their reputation totally.

Or maybe my $1500/month is not the sum to care? And $100000/month is anough?

Considering Andy Choopa posted about their Unmetered Blowout in the announcements section (and it's not his first post), I can't wait to see if a Choopa rep will respond to this thread and what they'll have to say...especially since they host redtube and i'm sure a bunch of other adult sites as well.

What was the reason they gave for the shutdown, or didn't they give you one?

I doubt that Andy replies. He got called out on another board for hosting redtube, even had his name in the topic title. He continued to post in other threads but never responded to that one.

I think the Shitlist is a perfect place for Choopa.

Also i would add this doesnt suprise me beacuse word choopa is banned word on gfy beacuse of spamming.In shortly very weird company.

I hosted with Choopa for 3+ years and never really had a problem with them. Support was always fast and helpful. That was some years ago though.

I also was hosted several months on choopa + one year on serversforless.com (same company) and was happy with fast and helpful support until this accident.

I know. Still restoring my sites...
If choopa gives me ability to download data from my server it would be much easier.

Finally, yesterday choopa allowed me to download all data from server.

btw, choopa also hosting the stolen vid content tube sites

sorry for bumping this old thread, so would people here on ADX now recommend choopa or not? Reading this thread made me worried a bit.

Cheapest it gets, support has gotten a lot better in the past year (all their machines are fully managed), plus Andy is a good guy.

I am in the process of moving the rest of my stuff over to them.
