Several businesses have been hurt unjustly. To give one example; the website adult-website-promotion.biz was added with the reason stated as "idiot". The site lost links from other sites and the traffic plummeted and sales did as well.
I happen to know the original source and can tell you it was a personal vendetta behind this. Also, cjwebmasters added this domain with the same reason so they too are shit bags!!!!

The problem on cheater databases too much people take them for granted,especially cheater hell.Such sites need to have info on front page which should say take this database as guide not as strict rule.And now as results people don't trust cheater databases at all and many sites which are inside are really notorious cheaters.
I heard about cheater hell and thought of looking up people before trading but after reading this there is no way I am going to pay $75 a year to see if what they have listed is true or not true. Too bad their is no real way of knowing who the cheaters are, since apparently none of the cheat collectors even try to verify anything. I would pay money to a site if I knew they verified all information submitted, I would not want to not trade with someone because they were mislabled a cheater.
I think that should be a given really. CH probably has the cleanest database out there, but folks should always do some of their own due diligence.
The problems brought up in this thread were dealt with immediately. Listing all sites on that IP was a mistake, no doubt about it. Which is why they were fixed right away.
There have been many threads where complainers of Cheaterhell were asked to bring to light sites that are in CH, but shouldn't be. How many do you think were listed? None. Why is that?
Yes, stuff happens, but they are always taken care of right away. And I guarantee you that CH gets alot more right than it has ever gotten wrong.

I think what would be a good idea is site where there is a database but also a ranking system and a comments area, so people could read what the accused person did and everyone they did it to could make a comment, or the person could defend themself, but I think it would be quite obvious if only one or two people accused a person of something that it is most likely a false accusation, especially if other people replied and said the opposite. Right now I am trying to figure out how to find out what one of my sponsors is cheating as I have entered 0 trade links into my ept script, yet I have noticed that some of my galleries do not go to where they are supposed to but it is random and not all from the same sponsor, like it is injecting redirects some how, leading to that crappy heavy video site and other shithole sites. I am starting to think my only option is to delete sponsors one at a time, I wish there was a place to check for cheating sponsors
Sounds to me like you have been hacked, your home computer is infected, or your tradscript is free edition and they are sending to a less than stellar trafficbroker.

I am being sent to some random sites, the company I bought the script from comusthumbs, the author says it is one of my sponsors he even said how it was done and there is something called commview or something that will help me find out which one it is. It only happens like 1 in every 50 times, although it has not happend for a while. I was sent to the same sites i have been sent to on other tgps while clicking thumbs, one was a virus site, maybe one of my sponsors was hacked? There are so many pieces of shit in this world someone needs to make fertilizer.

Cheaterhell isn't just a cheater database but one ever issue gets dealed with in a fair way. As 100 times said already, there is room for improvements, no doubt, but still, it's the best cheater database someone can find. The 10 or at most 20 issues of sites that have been wrongly in the database for one of the reason, out of over a database of mostly 10.000+ sites is acceptable and i guess that it's even a lower fail rate than everything else.
