AMAKINGS Returned Checks now I am Banned
I will post my issue in hopes AMAKINGS will provide adequate information and reason of my termination.
I have been promoting AMAKINGS for almost a year now and have never had an issue once. I am not a big affiliate, I average $60-$180 a month.
Recentlly with all the Webmaster Checks issues of bounced checks I became mixed up within the mayhem. As we were all told 'Do Not Cash Any Webmaster Checks' I listened and didn't cash any.
Unfortunetlly 2 checks I cashed before the warning was announced were not processed by my bank until recently thus I am now responsible for returned check amounts/check fees and mailing costs.
So I emailed Mike and Basil 3 times with concerns about this matter and wouldn't you know I receive an email from Shey stating the following:
"When we analyzed your account we found that we can no longer accept
your joins due to the fact that your account has already had a large percentage of
chargeback/credits and/or too many of your signups have been flagged by our banks.
Effective immediately, please remove all our links from your sites because your
account has been disabled and future joins will not be credited. Whatever is
currently owed on your account will be paid out on our next scheduled pay period."
I don't think I should be stuck with all these returned check fees because of an error on Webmaster Checks end. Has anyone else had this happen?

Serious Contributor
AMAKINGS has been listed here before. I guess this is just one more reason to stay away from them.

Update: they are agreeing to reimburse the 2 returned checks + fees. Apparently I am being terminated for a high percentage of charge backs. I will post future conflicts.

I was sending almost 2 sign ups a day, not a lot, but I got banned for the same exact reason. They couldn't provide any proof of the charge backs, stolen credit cards or anything, they just banned me and cancelled my account. I would stay away from them.

It's a shame when you can't even trust the sponsors anymore...

Thanks for the info here. Was just ready to start promoting them but will steer clear of them now.

I need help
I just want to clarify here that the webmaster checks issue and this account/s being closed have nothing to do with each other. It was a simple business decission to close these accounts. Given the fact that our banks ask us to comply with chargeback percentages, in order to do that, we have to monitor all our signups and stop taking traffic from webmasters that go over this threshold. I have already emailed "defoninc" with details as to what exactly their percentages were and since I consider that private information, I will not post it here. So yes, we deactivated the account because of these reasons but considering these were not revshare accounts and people are getting paid what they are owed, it is our full right to stop taking signups that are not profitable for us.
I also addressed their concern about webmaster checks that bounced and I have still to hear back with the information needed in order for us to replace the checks. So "defonic" please email me back with this information so we can replace these checks as we've done with every single one of our other webmasters, something that can not be said for other programs that had the same issues with webmaster checks.

Seriously Cute
A bit off topic
I checked detailed stats of amakings now... Seems I have made 25 PPS sales. Those have had 13 rebills.... Guess I should switch to REVS
Oh, on topic: just 2 CB, total $30.
That being said, in these times where sponsors won't pay - I do belive I got epass. payment from amakings some days ago...
